List of Martial Arts Classes in the Park in Ogden Utah

When the sun is shining and the weather is nice, no one wants to be cooped up in a smelly old martial arts studio. Well, of course, there are some of us die-hard practitioners that feel at home in these environs. On the other hand, MP USA loves to take advantage of the summer weather and to connect with nature by holding martial arts classes in the Park in Ogden Utah. Here is what we have planned for this summer.

When Are the Classes in the Park?

Martial Arts Classes in the Park in Ogden Utah

You may have missed two of our Classes in the Park this summer, but there are still three more available for you to attend. The next one is coming up on Thursday, July 20th. It will be a class that focuses on working on self-defense and sparring. So, if you have sparring gear, be sure to bring it.

The other two classes take place on Wednesdays in August: the 2nd and 23rd. These classes will focus more on fitness and fun. The Classes in the Park are open to kids from 6 pm to 6:45 pm. Adults are welcome to take part from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Where Are the Classes?

The remaining Classes in the Park will be held behind Fort Buenaventura, which is located at 2450 A Avenue in Ogden (84401.) This is a beautiful location that is rich with history.

Who Can Participate in Martial Arts Classes in the Park?

The Classes in the Park are open to all active participants in the Athletic Adventure Program and Wealth of Health and Vibravision participants who have achieved a 1.5 ranking or above in their respective programs.

Inactive students can also attend, but there are some stipulations. Inactive kids of all levels are welcome to attend. But, only adults who have reached Dasar 2 (or above) or who have achieved a 1.5 in Wealth of Health or Vibravision classes are eligible to attend.

How Much Do the Classes Cost?

Since there is a usage fee for Fort Buenaventura, active MP students are asked to pay $2 per person to cover the rental fee. Inactive students are charged $5 for kids and $10 for adults, which is half the normal cost for a class.

How Can You Get Involved?

Currently, our classes in the Park are only open to active and inactive members of MP USA. Fortunately, if you have never been involved with our studio, there are plenty of opportunities for you to become an active member. Children ages 6 to 14 can take part in our Youth Martial Arts program, which focuses on teaching discipline, responsibility, and physical fitness.

Adults have a variety of programs to choose from. If you hurry, you can jump in on our latest quarter of Wealth of Health classes, which are specifically designed for people over 40. They provide a low-impact opportunity to experience Merpati Putih. Vibravision classes are another way to get involved. These classes teach you mobility and orientation without using your eyes. Lastly, our flagship program is the Athletic Adventure Program. It is a more intensive Merpati Putih class that is semester-based. The next semester does not begin until October.
